What is covered under the Whirlpool refrigerator warranty?

Whirlpool provides a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering factory specified parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty does not cover service calls for installation issues, replacement of light bulbs or water filters, damage from accidents or misuse, or any food loss due to product failure.
