How do I clean the liquid fabric softener dispenser?

Remove the dispenser by grasping the top with both hands and squeezing while pushing upward with your thumbs. Rinse the dispenser under warm water, then replace it. Do not wash clothes with the dispenser removed or add detergent or bleach to this dispenser, as it is for liquid fabric softener only.
