How do I activate Vacation Mode and what does it do?

To turn on Vacation Mode, press the OPTIONS button to access the Options menu, then press LOCK under Vacation to activate the feature, which will display the Vacation icon on the screen. In Vacation Mode, the freezer will defrost less often to conserve energy. Note that after 1 hour, opening and closing the refrigerator door will turn off Vacation Mode, and it will also be canceled if Fast Ice is turned on or the Door Ajar alarm sounds. (Page 21)
