How do I replace the water filter and how often should it be changed?

Replace the disposable water filter at least every 6 months, or sooner if water flow decreases noticeably. To replace it, open the filter compartment door on the right-hand side of the refrigerator ceiling, turn the old filter counterclockwise to remove it, then install the new filter by aligning the arrow with the cutout notch and turning clockwise until it locks. Closing the filter compartment door will automatically reset the filter status tracking feature. (Page 16)
