What cleaning products should I use on stainless steel surfaces?

Use a soft, clean cloth with warm, soapy water using a mild detergent. For heavy soil, only use a stainless steel cleaner designed for appliances. Do not use abrasive cloths, paper towels, steel-wool pads, ammonia, citrus-based cleaners, acidic or vinegar-based cleaners, or oven cleaners. Avoid citric acid as it permanently discolors stainless steel. (Page 28)
