What should I do to winterize my washing machine before storage?

Shut off both water faucets and disconnect and drain water inlet hoses. Put 1 quart (1 L) of R.V.-type antifreeze in the basket, then run the washer on the Rinse & Spin setting for about 30 seconds to mix the antifreeze with remaining water. Finally, unplug the washer or disconnect power.
