Where should I install the carbon monoxide alarm in my home?
Install the alarm in the bedroom or places where people frequently spend time, or where carbon monoxide may be produced or could leak. If mounting on a wall, the alarm should be placed higher than 1.5m from the floor, at least 0.3m below the ceiling, and 1.5m away from corners, wall sides, and large furniture. In multi-storey buildings, it is recommended to install an alarm on every floor.
