What should I do before using my Aroma Roaster Oven for the first time?

Before first use, read all instructions and safety guidelines, remove all packaging materials, wash the removable cooking pan and lid in warm soapy water, wipe the roaster's body with a damp cloth, and ensure everything is completely dry. Then preheat the roaster oven at 400°F for 30 minutes until smoke and odors have completely dissipated, then turn off and unplug it.
