How do I assemble the upper and lower shafts of the GL350 trimmer?

Take the upper shaft (6) and insert it into the lower shaft (7), then slide the upper shaft until you hear it click into place and secure it with the body fastening screws as shown in Fig. B, making sure to tighten them well. (Page 8)
