How do I properly maintain and clean the GL350 trimmer?

Periodically clean the ventilation slots on the tool using a soft brush or dry cloth, and clean the motor housing with a damp cloth — do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners. Clean the cutting line and spool with a soft brush or dry cloth, and use a blunt scraper to remove accumulated grass and dirt from under the guard. Blow dust and dirt from all ventilation ducts with dry air at least once a week, and always wear ANSI Z87.1 approved eye protection when doing so. (Page 10)
