Periodically clean the ventilation slots on the tool using a soft brush or dry cloth, and wipe the motor housing with a damp cloth — never use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners. Clean the cutting line and spool regularly with a soft brush or dry cloth, and use a blunt scraper to remove accumulated grass and dirt from under the guard.
