What should I clean the cooktop with and what should I avoid?

For best results, use cleaners such as glass ceramic cooktop cleaner, BonAmi®, Soft Scrub® (without bleach), and white vinegar. Avoid glass cleaners containing ammonia or chlorine bleach, caustic cleaners like Easy Off®, abrasive cleaners, metal scouring pads, soap-filled scouring pads like SOS®, powdery cleaners containing chlorine bleach, and flammable cleaners like lighter fluid or WD-40.
