How do I properly position the gold tone filter in the coffee basket?

When using the gold tone filter, ensure that the handle is positioned towards the hinge area of the coffee basket. Otherwise, the handle may interfere with the flow of ground coffee into the gold tone filter. Never use the gold tone filter in conjunction with a paper filter. (Page 11)
