Can the cutter operation be disabled or adjusted on the HE-800A?

Yes, the cutter operation can be deactivated at the press of a key if a cutter is not needed. The cutter timing can also be set to one of four options: front knife, center knife, rear knife, or front + center knife. The cutter vertical movement is driven by a double position solenoid for accurate and fast operation without slowing the sewing machine. (Pages 2–3)
