What should I check first if my printer isn't working properly?
First verify that the power cord is connected correctly and the machine is powered on, all orange protective parts have been removed, paper is inserted correctly in the paper tray, and interface cables are securely connected. For network models, also check that your access point, router, or hub is turned on with a blinking link indicator. (Page 14)
