What type of lubricating oil should I use in the S-1000A?
You must use only JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation Sewing Lube 10N (VG10) as specified by Brother. If that oil is difficult to obtain, the recommended alternative is Exxon Mobil Essotex SM10 (VG10).
