Do I still need to wear a safety belt if my Lucerne has airbags?
Yes — airbags are supplemental systems only and work with safety belts, not instead of them. Every airbag system requires the use of safety belts, and you still need to buckle up to get the most protection, especially in side and other collisions where frontal airbags may not deploy. You can be severely injured or killed in a crash if you are not wearing your safety belt, even if you have airbags. (Page 24)
