How do I set the date and time on the DATE Model of the EOS Rebel T2?

Move the function pointer arrow to the date icon on the LCD panel, then press the SET button to select each digit (year, month, day, hour, minute) and turn the Main Dial to set the correct number. Keep pressing the SET button until no digits are blinking to finalize the setting. Note that the date and time setting can only be retained for about 10 minutes after the batteries are removed.
