How should I clean the lens and shutter curtains?

Use only a blower brush to blow away dust from the lens, eyepiece, and shutter curtains. Never use air pressure that is too forceful on the shutter curtains as they are extremely thin and can be easily deformed or damaged. Do not use cleaners containing organic solvents; consult your nearest Canon Service Center for stubborn dirt (p.4).
