How does the automatic cut-in and cut-out pressure work?

The cut-in pressure is 120 PSI, at which point the compressor automatically starts to refill the tank when pressure drops below this minimum. The cut-out pressure is 150 PSI, which is when the motor stops because the tank has reached maximum air pressure.
