What should I do before starting the engine for the first time?

Check the engine oil level and fill the fuel tank with fresh, clean, regular unleaded gasoline. Verify the freewheel control is in the transmission engaged position, adjust the seat to a comfortable operating position, and reduce tire pressure from factory settings to proper PSI levels.
