How do I properly adjust the seat on my 917.275702?

Raise the seat and loosen the adjustment knob, then lower the seat into operating position and sit down. Slide the seat until you reach a comfortable position that allows you to press the clutch/brake pedal all the way down. Get off the seat without moving its adjusted position, raise the seat again, and tighten the adjustment knob securely. (Page 7)
