How do I use jumper cables to start the tractor if the battery is too weak?

Connect one end of the red cable to the positive (+) terminal of each battery, then connect one end of the black cable to the negative (-) terminal of the fully charged battery. Connect the other end of the black cable to a good chassis ground, away from the fuel tank and battery. To remove the cables, reverse the order — black cable first from chassis then from the charged battery, and red cable last from both batteries. Note that your tractor uses a 12-volt system, and the booster vehicle must also be a 12-volt system. (Page 26)
