How do I use jumper cables to start the tractor with a weak battery?

Connect one end of the red cable to the positive (+) terminal of each battery, then connect one end of the black cable to the negative (-) terminal of the fully charged battery, and connect the other end of the black cable to a good chassis ground away from the fuel tank and battery. To remove the cables, reverse the order — disconnect the black cable from the chassis first, then from the charged battery, and remove the red cable last. Note that your tractor uses a 12-volt system and you must use another 12-volt vehicle; do not use the tractor battery to start other vehicles. (Page 26)
