How do I install and remove the battery pack from the drill?

To install, lock the switch trigger by placing the direction of rotation selector in the center position, align the raised rib on the battery pack with the groove inside the drill, and press until the latches on each side snap into place. To remove, lock the switch trigger, then depress the latches on the side of the battery pack to release it from the drill. Always ensure the latches are fully engaged before operating. (Page 10)
