How do I properly charge the battery pack for the first time?

Charge the battery pack only with the provided charger by aligning the raised rib on the battery pack with the groove in the charger, then pressing down to ensure proper contact. The red LED will come on indicating fast charging mode for approximately 1 hour, then the green LED will indicate the battery is fully charged. Note that batteries will not reach full charge the first time; allow several charging cycles after drilling to achieve full capacity. (Page 9)
