How do I safely remove and install the battery pack?

To install, align the raised rib on the battery pack with the groove inside the drill and ensure the latches on each side snap into place. To remove, lock the switch trigger by placing the direction of rotation selector in center position, then locate and depress the latches on the sides of the battery pack to release it from the drill.
