How do I use the two-speed gear train, and when should I use each speed?

Use the slide switch located on top of the drill to select either LO (1) or HI (2) speed. LO speed decreases speed but provides more power and torque, making it suitable for high-power and high-torque applications. HI speed increases speed but provides less torque, making it better suited for fast drilling or driving applications. (Page 10)
