What do the LED indicator lights on the charger mean?

The red LED on indicates the charger is in fast charging mode. The green LED on indicates the battery pack is fully charged and in trickle charge mode. If both yellow and green LEDs come on, this indicates a deeply discharged or defective battery pack. No LED on indicates a defective charger or battery pack. (Page 9)
