What should I do if the auger doesn't completely stop rotating when disengaged?

If the auger shows ANY signs of rotating when in the disengaged "UP" position, immediately return to the operator's position and shut OFF the engine. Wait for ALL moving parts to stop before adjusting the auger control cable. To readjust, loosen the upper hex bolt on the auger cable bracket and position it upward for more slack or downward to increase cable tension, then retighten.
