How do I adjust the carriage bearings to prevent blade wandering?
Remove the carriage cover on the left side of the arm. Grip the front bearing to keep it still and pull the carriage forward; the bearing should turn. Use a 9/16 inch wrench to hold the eccentric screw and a 1/2 inch wrench to loosen the nut below the bearing. Turn the eccentric screw to tighten the bearing so it turns with even resistance when the carriage is moved. Adjust only the left side bearings, as right side bearings do not adjust. (Page 30)
