What should I do if the snow blower fails to self-propel or the auger hesitates when rotating?

If the snow blower fails to self-propel or the auger hesitates, the auger control cable may be out of adjustment or the auger drive belt may be loose or damaged. To adjust the cable, disconnect it from the bottom hole in the control handle and reinsert it in the upper hole; if the auger still hesitates after this adjustment, replace the auger drive belt.
