What does the 'General Alarm: Refer to User Manual / App' message mean?

This message can indicate several conditions: the inside of the machine is very dirty (clean it thoroughly as described in section 14), the milk container tubes need cleaning (turn dial E1 to CLEAN), the water filter needs replacing, or the machine needs descaling. If the message persists after cleaning, you should contact a customer service center. (Page 26)
