First rough-dry the hair with the Coanda smoothing dryer, then use a smoothing brush to brush from root to tip. Rotate the cool tip to select Smoothing mode, and press the dryer against the hair to switch the airflow direction. The Coanda smoothing dryer comes with two modes: drying and smoothing. (Page 6)
