How do I empty my bin without making a mess?

First, press the red wand release button on top of the wand and pull the wand away from the bin. Then hold the machine over a bin pointing downwards, and firmly push the red bin release button—the bin will slide down and the base will open. To minimize dust contact, cover your bin tightly in a dust proof bag while you empty it, then seal the bag tightly and dispose of it. Finally, push the bin base upwards until it clicks into place.
