How do I wash and maintain the Laser Slim Fluffy™ brush bar?

To remove the brush bar, press the cleaner head release button, place the cleaner head upside down, push the end cap up fully, and pull the brush bar out. Hold the brush bar under running water and gently rub to remove lint or dirt, then stand it upright with the closed end facing upwards and leave to dry completely for at least 24 hours before replacing. Do not wash the end cap, and do not put any part of the machine in a dishwasher or use detergents. (Page 10)
