You should wash your filter at least once a month to maintain optimum suction power. After washing with warm running tap water and shaking out the excess water, you must leave your filter to dry for at least 24 hours in a well-ventilated, warm place. Your filter must be completely dry before putting it back in the machine, and you should never dry it in a tumble dryer, microwave, or near a naked flame, as using a damp filter could damage your machine.
