How often should I clean the air filter and how do I do it?

The air filter should be cleaned once every two weeks, as a clogged filter reduces cooling efficiency. Remove the filter by lifting the front panel, gripping the tab, and pulling it out; then clean it with warm soapy water using a mild detergent. Rinse with fresh water, shake off excess, and dry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight before reinserting it. (Page 34)
