How do I use Wi-Fi Direct mode to connect devices directly to the ET-2980U without a router?

Press the home button, select Wi-Fi Setup, then select Wi-Fi Direct and press OK twice. You can then connect using the Epson Smart Panel app or manually by selecting your device type (iOS, Android, or Other OS Devices) and following the on-screen instructions. Wi-Fi Direct mode supports up to 8 connected devices, but note that the product must be connected to the Internet for the ReadyPrint program to function, so Wi-Fi Direct Mode is not recommended for that purpose.
