How do I install the ink cartridges in my printer?

Press the Power button to turn on the printer, then push and release the ink compartment cover to open it. For each cartridge, push down on the clamp and pull it forward, then insert the cartridge with the arrow mark pointing toward the printer and push the clamp back up to lock it in place. The printer will begin charging the ink delivery system, which takes about 10 minutes—do not turn off the printer during this process. (Page 1-12 to 1-15)
