? What Causes This
9V battery has been depleted through extended use of the multimeter.
✓ How to Fix It
- Remove the test leads from the multimeter.
- Turn the unit over.
- Remove screws from the back cover.
- Remove back cover carefully (there may be wires attached).
- Pull the old 9V battery out and replace with a new 9V battery.
- Replace cover and retighten screws.
