Problems with Lid sealing, incorrect pressure operation or excessive loss of steam from cooking contents leading to insufficient heating.

? What Causes This

Improper closure of the lid, steam release valve improperly set for selected mode, lack of sufficient liquid (8oz minimum) in pot for proper pressurization.

How to Fix It

  1. Place Steam Release Valve into 'Release' position and wait until pressure is completely released before proceeding.
  2. Verify Sealing Gasket correctly fastened underneath the lid's interior base.
  3. If needed, add 1 cup more liquid to pot (e.g., water or broth) and restock contents appropriately.
  4. After verification and adjustments reset device by unplugging at least 5 seconds then re-plug in; proceed with revised settings and cooking timer.
