Incorrect use of Lid or Steam Release Valve for certain functions (i.e., Brown/Sauté, Simmer, Boil) where they shouldn’t be used, or misuse on Slow Cook and Yogurt settings.
? What Causes This
Mismatched lid usage with selected cooking mode; incorrect valve configuration when lid is present on unsupported settings like SLOW COOK while non-pressurized.
✓ How to Fix It
Inappropriate settings: Remove Lid if it has been improperly installed during operations that don’t require lids. Correct valve usage: If setting error, rotate Steam Release Valve to open 'Release' position for modes requiring ventilation (as seen with Slow Cook and Yogurt). Upon correction reset device by unplugging unit no less than 5 seconds subsequently re-plug and restart operation as required.
