Defective temperature sensor, damaged or corroded wiring harness connections, or faulty Electronic Range Control (ERC) board.

✓ How to Fix It

  1. Measure the temperature sensor resistance with a multimeter at room temperature (should be approximately 1,100Ω).
  2. If reading is above 1,150Ω or below 1,050Ω, replace the sensor.
  3. Inspect wiring harness for damage, corrosion, or loose connections and repair or replace as needed.
  4. If sensor and wiring are good, the ERC board may be faulty and require replacement.
