Error Code Red light illuminates on the Clean indicator/reset button
The transducer/ultrasonic membrane needs cleaning. The clean LED will illuminate red indicating it is time to clean the transducer/ultrasonic membrane.
? What Causes This
Transducer/ultrasonic membrane has mineral deposits from water that need to be removed. Failure to clean may cause reduced or no mist output.
✓ How to Fix It
- Remove the tank cover and set aside.
- Remove the tank and pour out any water remaining.
- Over a sink, twist to remove the water reservoir and pour out remaining water.
- Reattach the water reservoir.
- Fill tank with 13oz./385mL of water.
- Swish the water around the tank in all directions.
- Pour out remaining water.
- Clean the transducer/ultrasonic membrane with a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water on a cotton swab. Wipe off with a damp cotton swab.
- After cleaning, reassemble the humidifier, fill with water, plug in, and turn on.
- After filling the tank with water, press and hold the clean indicator/reset button until the red LED turns off.
