? What Causes This

Calcium deposits or mineral accumulation from water used in the brewer, typically occurring every 3-6 months depending on water mineral content.

✓ How to Fix It

Fill the Water Reservoir with undiluted white vinegar.
Run brew cycles without a K-Cup by pressing the Large Mug Button 4 times.
Let the brewer stand for at least 4 hours.
Fill with fresh water and run brew cycles until the reservoir is empty.
Repeat if DE-SCALE message persists.
