Clogged lint screen, crushed or kinked vent, vent with too many turns, lint and debris in vent system, or blocked exterior vent exhaust hood.
✓ How to Fix It
- Clean lint screen.
- Check if the vent run from the dryer to the wall is crushed or kinked.
- Confirm that the vent run from the dryer to the wall is free of lint and debris.
- Confirm that the exterior vent exhaust hood is free of lint and debris.
- Confirm that the vent system falls within recommended run length and number of elbows per Installation Instructions.
- Select a Timed Dry heated cycle and restart the dryer.
- If persists, have entire home venting run cleaned by a venting specialist.
