Remote Controls Error Codes

Auto registration in progress — the remote is searching for the correct device code by sending infrared signals.

Command learned successfully — the infrared signal from your device's remote has been captured and stored.

Learning mode timeout — no key was selected on the universal remote within 15 seconds, and the learning mode has exited automatically.

Signal reception timeout — no infrared signal was received from the device's original remote within 30 seconds.

Learning error — the infrared signal from the device remote was not received or recognized.

Key selected for learning — the remote is waiting to receive the infrared signal from your device's original remote.

Invalid code entered — the code was not recognized or accepted by the device.

All learned codes for a device cleared — all commands previously learned for the selected device have been deleted.

Learning mode activated — the remote is ready to learn a command from your device's original remote control.

Device selection mode active — the remote is ready to accept a setup code for the selected device.

All learned codes for all devices cleared — all commands previously learned for the entire universal remote have been deleted.

Remote is in pairing mode.

Network connectivity issue — the Fire TV Stick cannot establish or maintain a connection to the internet.

Software problem — indicates a fault with the Fire TV Stick's operating system or firmware.

Remote is successfully paired.

Remote pairing indicator — the LED on the remote flashes to indicate pairing mode is active.

Remote successfully paired — the remote has completed pairing with the Fire TV Stick device.

Remote pairing mode activated — the remote is ready to be paired with the Fire TV Stick device.

Low battery indicator.
