Filter Reset indicator turns red, signaling that it is time to replace a water filter.

? What Causes This

Water filter has been used beyond the acceptable timeline and needs immediate replacement due to the filter being dirty or contaminated.

Turn off water supply line.
Open and remove old cartridge by turning knob counterclockwise for one-quarter turn and pulling out. Replace with a new Samsung-approved filter. Turn on supply if disconnected and run dispenser cycle.
