? What Causes This
Drain hose improper installation, kinks, pinches, blockages, or clogged drain hose. Drain hose may extend too far into standpipe or be positioned too high.
✓ How to Fix It
- Check drain hose for proper installation.
- Make sure drain hose is not kinked, pinched, or blocked.
- Remove clogs from drain hose.
- Use drain hose form and securely attach to drainpipe or tub.
- Lower drain hose if end is higher than 96" (2.4 m) above floor.
- Ensure drain hose does not extend more than 4.5" (114 mm) into standpipe.
